Imposing fortresses, sumptuous palaces, majestic mosques... Discover the captivating charm of Agra's historic centre on this guided walking tour. What's more, it's FREE!
Your free walking tour of Agra will start in the bucolic Shahjahan Garden. This beautiful park is located just a few steps from the iconic Red Fort. The history of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is surrounded by myth and legend, according to which... well, you'll find out on the day of the tour!
Continue your guided tour to Jami Masjid. This imposing Islamic temple, one of the largest in India, is also known as the Friday Mosque. Behind the red sandstone and white marble building, explore the narrow streets filled to burst with people, animals and market stalls: you've reached the Kinari Bazaar. You can find all manner of goods throughout the lively market, from food, spices and flowers to authentic Indian handicrafts.
You'll then stroll over to the banks of the Yamuna River, where you can experience the spiritualism emanating from the Sikh Gurdwara Sri Damdama Sahib temple, before heading over to a viewpoint from which you'll enjoy spectacular views of the iconic Taj Mahal. You'll finish your free walking tour of Agra returning to the Red Fort to admire the Moti Masjid.
