Are you staying in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and want to discover the south of the island? On this excursion you 'll discover a great variety of landscapes, from the desert of the Maspalomas dunes to the mountains that surround the Guayadeque ravine.
Maspalomas, Mogán and Guayadeque Day Trip
We'll pick you up at the different meeting points in Las Palmas between 9:10 am and 9:45 am leaving the capital of Gran Canaria behind and heading south to discover this part of the island.
The first stop of the day will be in Agüimes. We'll enjoy a beautiful walk through the historic centre of this charming town, enjoying some of its most striking sights, such as the Plaza del Rosario or the parish of San Sebastián.
Near Agüimes, one of the jewels of southern Gran Canaria awaits us: the Guayadeque ravine. We'll make several stops at its most stunning viewpoints while we talk about the many archaeological sites which pay testament ot the area's long history. And to discover how the Canarian aborigines lived we'll see numerous caves that served as a refuge.
The route will also take us to Puerto de Mogán, known as the Venice of the Canary Islands. Sailor's houses, bridges, boats and crystal clear waters make this a picture postcard to remember!
The last stop of the day will be in the Maspalomas area, whose classified as a Special Natural Reserve. Here you'll have two hours of free time so that you can take relax on its beaches, explore its famous golden sand dunes, take a dip or eat at a local restaurant.
We will end the excursion, leaving you back at the meeting points between 5:10 and 5:45 pm.
